Surviving

The morning starts out okay, kids up, breakfast eaten, book bags ready and off to school. It's just me and my little princess once the boys are off. We come home and it begins. The curiosity begins. I tell myself it is just curiosity because if I don't then I am not sure how I would get through DVD's in the VCR, the toilet filled with a whole roll of toilet paper, my purse spread out across the kitchen floor, Halloween make-up on her clothes, marker on my kitchen table, all of the couch pillows thrown on the floor, and every diaper from her drawer spread across her nursery. Oh- and this is all before nap time. Whew! Thank goodness for nap time. I promise you I am not ignoring my little one and allowing her to roam free through the house and cause chaos. She is fast, she is busy, she is VERY smart, oh-and she is 2! Enough said, right?! I am certain the only way children survive being 2 is those darling little faces we can't resist. I know that when you look at these pictures you would never guess she is such a little devil sometimes. I love that sweet face, princess or devil :)

I have never encountered a two year old with the speed of Aubrey! And I have encountered a lot of two year olds. She is too cute and when she asks, "You okay?" I melt.
