Rain, rain, go away....

...or not. It wont stop me! Meet Danielle, an aspiring interior decorator. Dani is applying to a few internship programs and since they are out of state she needed head shots. Hello!...you might just need to skip design and head straight to modeling sister! Seriously...how gorgeous is she!?? What a dream she was to work with. With her beautiful hair and flawless skin, talk about an easy day at work. We headed downtown for some shots and it was pouring rain. We decided to go over to Trolley Square to do a few indoor shots to see if it would let up. It didn't. Dani was such a trooper and froze her little tushie off all the while posing in every way I asked no matter how awkward it was. In the rain. Dani, you are such a doll! Thank you so much for having me, and a huge thank you to our fabulous umbrella holder Anthony (Dani's boyfriend). I am crossing my fingers that California calls your name :)

Are you kidding me!?!! So gorgeous!

Work it girl!

Marley

What a sweet baby girl I got to hang out with the other day! Even though we tried like crazy to get smiles from her cute face, we failed. We need to try again soon Madi :) Thank you so much for having me!

We got a slight smile thanks to Aunt Emily :)

Are you kidding me with all that cuteness!!?!

Happiness is...

So I decided that in between shoots I want to keep in touch. So weekly or bi-weekly, I plan to do this as one of my new additions to andreakphotography. I have had so much fun thinking about things that make me smile and brighten my day. There are A LOT!! Life is so amazing and I am so lucky to live the one I do. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite things.

Something new

I decided that in between photo shoots I want to stay in touch with my boggity blogger friends and do some fun things here at andreaKphotography. It can't be all work and no play right?!? So stay tuned for something new coming soon :)

Posts are always better with a picture, so here is one from a recent Valentine shoot.

Shaggy dog

That's what my dad calls my boys when I let it go too long in-between haircuts...which is pretty much every time :). Their hair grows like crazy, I can't keep up! When your dad is a barber...I mean a real- back in the day- men's cut and shave type of barber, you hear about their shaggy hair every time you see him. I put Brady's haircut off extra long this time because he wanted to have long hair like his friend at school and my dad was out with Joshua one day and cut his hair so we were all off schedule. I couldn't take it anymore, Brady was in desperate need of a haircut. The boys are so lucky they get to have their hair cut by their grandpa, a real barber. They have no idea how much they will treasure this when they are older.

See...hair hanging in the ears...no good!

Much better!!
