Jake James Lee

The Lee family got a very exciting early Christmas present this year. In these photos Jake is just 6 days old and so precious with every inch of baby sweetness. When I first got there I just swept him away from daddy and before I knew it I had been loving on him for 40 minutes...oops! "I really am here to take pictures, I promise" :) He is just perfect in every way and I wanted to steal him away. Oh how I love newborns. There is nothing better than holding one close and breathing in that soothing baby smell. This little guy was awake a lot so we couldn't really smoosh him up like I usually like to do. Yes, at 6 days old...WIDE awake. We still had so much fun and he is just too cute for words. Congratulations Bevy, Jesse and big sister Mikaela!! Love you!

Jake: Day 2

I was talking to my husband on the phone one day, as we do pretty much every day. We talked for a minute and then he said, "Bev came by today, she is on her way over to look at the furniture book." I was just excited she was coming over and didn't think another thing about it. I got the books out for her and waited. When she walked in we looked at the books for a minute and then she turned to me and said, "I didn't come over for these, I came over to tell you I'm pregnant!" What?!! Happy little screeches and hugs were all over the place and I was so crazy excited for her and Jesse. I have been waiting for this day for years! Yes, me...I have been waiting and wanting Bevy to have another little one just about as much as she did. It was a happy day! Hugs and more hugs were given and then off she went with a glow that still seems to radiate to this day. When I walked into the hospital room after a very long 41 weeks that Jake made us wait, I giggled to see dad laying in the bed holding the baby and mom walking around on the phone....glowing :) Bev and Jesse, I am SO happy for you and Jake is perfect in every way! Love you to pieces!!

Filthy Gorgeous

"Get noticed or go home" is Keith Bryce's signature saying, and he lives and designs by that mantra. Keith Bryce is a self taught designer with the most amazing pieces of art you have ever seen. Yes- art, they are just too fabulous to be called clothes. His talents don't stop at designing. He also does photography, abstract paintings, oh- and he did the hair on the models for this photo shoot. How awesome is he?! His boutique in Salt Lake is called Filthy Gorgeous where we got to see some future designs he is working on and I can't wait to be part of the next photo shoot. Keith was on season 5 of Project Runway, so when I met him I am pretty sure my coolness meter went up like 100 points :) He is just about the nicest guy you could meet and was oh so fabulous to shoot with. Thank you Keith for allowing me to be part of such an amazing day, and a view into your Filthy Gorgeous world!

Kendall

She said it was cold. Then she told me it was 69 degrees. "Umm...are you for real miss?!" "Be prepared for cold when you get here", I told her. Although, I do remember telling her it is not so bad when the sun comes out. "40 and sunny is a nice day". I am sure she was thinking, are you for real?! We laughed and agreed, it is all relative :) Of course when Katy got here Thursday morning it was the coldest it had been all year. I am sure she was thrilled about that. Even more, I am sure Aubrey and Kendall were jumping for joy inside when we kept taking them out in the freezing cold to do pictures. It was freezing! At least we weren't out for too long. It was SO worth it! Katy I am so glad you came out. I miss you so much! Love you guys!!
.
Kendall is pretty serious in a lot of these pictures, but both Gary and Katy said "that's her".

We did get some smiles though :)

I love that we got some photos with snow falling.
