We're back!

I am so sad to say goodbye to our family vacation, but I was so excited to get to these family pictures. Christina and I became fast friends in high school and I could not imagine those 4 years without her. She was always such an amazing friend to me and her smile just lights up a room. We got back in touch through face book and I am so glad! When she asked me to take family pictures for her I was so nervous because she is a fabulous photographer herself. When I got there it was only minutes until I felt like one of the family, and the shoot went smooth as creamy peanut butter. Hmmm...I'm hungry :) Well here are some of my favs. It was very tough for me not to post the whole shoot. I hope to see you soon Christina. Thank you for having me. Happy 90th grandma!!

We're off...

Vacation time! The Carter's are off to San Diego for some Sea World, Lego Land, Beach time fun!! Before we go I have to post a little teaser of a family I had a complete blast with. This picture will for sure show you how much fun they were. Lots more of them when I return. Thanks for a fabulous Saturday morning guys!

I heart faces: Top 10!!!

I was so excited to come home from my 4th of July vacation to see that I had placed in the Top 10 photos out of 323 submitted. The below black and white photo is the one I entered and it is the first bridal photos I ever took. I was extra excited because the judge this week was Jasmine Star and she is my favorite photographer EVER! I am also attending her workshop in August. Can't wait!!! Click here to see the top 10 winners! (I am #8) With my picture she said "A Black/ White photo + gorgeous bride + Andrea Carter= BOOMness. Yeah, I just made up a word, but it fits, right?! :)" She is so funny! I am just beyond excited about this!!

The Westlund Family

What a fun shoot I had with this family. I mean-really, could there be a more gorgeous family? Oh- and how darling are those kids!? I could take pictures of them all day! We were a little challenged with how busy the park was, but it was a blast! Apparently Murray Park is the place to be on Sunday evenings- who knew? Thank you so much Westlund family for having me!
