Before and After

Canon or Nikon? Photoshop or Lightroom? When it comes to these subjects people are pretty strong one way or the other. I am a Canon/Lightroom girl through and through. I love shooting with my Canon 5D Mark II and Lightroom is the greatest editing tool ever invented...in my opinion :) I have even been to workshops where they show editing exclusively with photoshop and I just can't seem to get it. It seems so complicated to me. Everything they do in photoshop I just end up converting to Lightroom techniques and pretty much get the same results. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to be better at photoshop. There are so many amazing things you can do with that program and I do still use some of the tools that Lightroom does not offer. You can't switch heads in Lightroom...I use photoshop for that every time. At the end of the day though I am a 99% Lightroom girl and I guess I am just set in my ways...haha. Anywho, here are a few before and afters to show you my Lightroom editing. The first photo is straight out of my camera when I shot it and the second is of course my final edit and what I would give to a client. Enjoy! Happy Friday!!

Mattingley Family

My kids go to the greatest school! We are so lucky to be able to send them there and the families we have become friends with are just an added bonus!! These are some friends we made this year when our boys both played on the same soccer team. The Green Dragons kicked butt this season! Such a sweet and adorable family you guys are Jen. Thank you so much for having me and for putting up with a very cold day.

What an amazing year 2010 was. I am so excited to see how my business has grown over the past year and it is all because of YOU!
