My old fashioned boy

My sweet Brady boy is turning 6...YIKES! I thought five was hard but six seems to be just as hard. Ok-who am I kidding, it is hard every year!! They just grow up so fast and every year that littleness (is that a word?) fades away more and more. Well, I better just post before I start to cry. I didn't intend for these to all end up looking old fashioned...but I love it! More from this shoot to come soon.

Cole and Bradley

I have always thought Em had such cute boys, but after taking their pictures I think you don't get much cuter then these two. They were so good and did what ever I asked. You can really see in Cole's face just how much he loves Bradley in that last one. Beautiful boys Em!

Coming soon....

Yes- a new baby boy is coming soon for my friend Emily. She is such a good friend to let me make her my guinea pig of maternity pictures. What a cute prego she is...so tiny! We had so much fun, and we laughed so hard when I told her to do a serious face...it's not so easy to be serious in front of your best friend. What a fun day. Can't wait to take pics when he gets here!!

She is so little that you can't even tell she is prego in this first one but it is just so dang cute I had to post it!

Just darling...

is all I can say about my two nieces!! They came over today and let me practice on them. What a fun afternoon. The boys even jumped in for a few...they were so crazy we had to kick them out pretty quick. My niece just loves them though, she says they are her best friends....I love it!

Let the light shine in

Just having some fun with the windows in my kitchen. I put a soft focus on these to kind of go with the way the bright light was coming through. These are north facing windows at about noon. I had two little helpers to make sure she didn't fall....as you can see in the last picture :)

Heartbreaker!

Isn't he just the cutest?!! Well- I'm the mom so of course I think so. This little guy is truly the best kid. I am so lucky to have such a smart, responsible, and loving boy. He is the best big brother too. Yes...I know, he needs his nails cut AGAIN! My kids nails grow like crazy. They for sure get that from me.
